About the Practice

The goal of the practice is to meet up with every client's needs in treatment, diagnosis and prevention. The focus is on optimal health within age, gender and medical condition. We aim to solve problems or to refer correctly to make proper diagnosis and follow up treatment. Approach to patients are investigative. Full work-ups are the norm. We have special interest in peadiatrics, integrative medicine, aesthetic medicine and sport medicine. Allied health are involved and often utilized and alternative therapies are also considered. Neutriceutical treatments are considered where patients request other therapy than the traditional medical treatment. We also use intravenous therapies in certain conditions, but all options are discussed with patients.

Who is Dr. Quinten D. Fourie

Dr. Quinten Fourie

Dr. Fourie has done his undergraduate medical degree (MBBCh) at the University of the Witwatersrand and qualified in 2005. He then obtained a Certificate in Travel Medicine from Wits University and is currently a member of the South African Travel Society (SASTM). He has a Dispensing Certificate and license from S. Buys Academy. In 2016 he completed his Certificate in Post Graduate Program in Pediatric Nutrition from the Boston University School of Medicine. He also has a Certificate in Integrative Medicine from the Federation for the Advancement of Integrative medicine. He has also training in Integrative medicine at the Golding Institute.

Dr. Fourie was trained at:
• Sandton Aesthetic Institute by Dr. Alistar Clark and qualified with a Certificate in Basic Filler and Botox techniques.
• Healthy Ageing Institute by Dr. Gys du Plessis and qualified with a Certificate in Advanced Botulinum and Dermal Filler techniques.

He is currently training with dr. Martina van der Mescht in advanced filler techniques using MD Codes.

He as done training for medical products RAO, Nimue and Essel. He has done certificates in intra-articular injections and various Platelet Rich Plasma threatments like Vampire facial, P-shot, V-Shot, sport injuries and arthritis.

He has practiced Travel, General, Aesthetic medicine at Dr’s JJ Searle and associates and at Dr Quinten Fourie and Dr Sias Searle in Vaalpark, SA.
He has practiced Aesthetic and Integrative medicine at Healthy Ageing with Dr Gys du Plessis in Woodmead Sandton, SA.

Dr. Fourie has been an expert consultant in the Following magazines: Bella (old and new South African and Namibian issues), as well as free-lance expert in the Kuier, Vroue keur, Rooi Rose and Topvibe Magazines. Currently he is the Health expert at BLOSS magazine. He has done talks on 90.6 FM stereo and Pretoria FM.

He is currently practicing specialized general medicine, advanced aesthetic medicine and integrative / healthy ageing and preventative medicine at Dr. Q Aesthetic Awe Inc. which is situated in Vanderbijlpark.
